Back to a new normality: For our Social Spots pilot we chose the popular Donaukanal (Danube channel) promenade . The action took place on 26.4.2020 still during lockdown and pushed at that time to the limit of legality. To set an example that social interaction is essential and must still be possible even in times of physical distance was the example we wanted to set. For many it was the first time in several weeks that they met with friends again. The atmosphere was exuberant and the feedback very positive. The police tolerated the social spots with interested looks and without objection
